This project was first discussed as an idea between a few students at the SIS Basel. The question was what esle could be done to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. A number of projects had already been run successfully at the school and a lot of money was raised. One of the children at the school has a story book at home which was published a few years ago by an Austrian charity to raise money for less fortunate people. It is a beautiful collection of stories written by children. So the children at the SIS decided to do try to do something similar and publish a book .
Of course it didn't take long the idea to catch on as there are many concerned students at the school who would like to make a difference, there are also many good story writers at the school so won't t take long to get a nice collection of stories.
To make this project successful we need sponsors. We have already secured the support of webland.ch who agreed to offer us free hosting for this website.
